Emma and Shaun’s Wedding | Orlando Wedding Photographer | Sivan Photography

Not too long ago, I met the owner of Over the Moon Rentals in Orlando. Edie and I clicked right away, and before I knew it, she was emailing me excited to say that her daughter was engaged! That was followed by a request to be their wedding photographer, which was such an honor!

When I first started communicating with Emma and Shaun, I instantly knew they would be an amazing couple to work with. There was no fuss, just complete elation that they were getting married! It was so obvious from the get-go how in love and extremely laid back they are!

They initially chose a venue that I love photographing at, and then not long before the wedding I got an email saying that things have changed and they are now getting married at the Dr. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts! Cue MAJOR excitement! I hadn’t had a chance to photograph there yet, and I knew that it would be just spectacular. To add to the excitement, Edie told me that she was making a custom chandelier for the reception that is similar to the butterfly display at Neiman Marcus. I’ve only been in there a few times, but that display 100% caught my attention. I knew exactly what she was talking about, and holy cow..I was pumped!

I have to say…this wedding did NOT disappoint. It had everything beautiful you could imagine, and then some. Over the Moon Rentals went all out with custom backdrops, the chandelier, and so much more. When you’re the daughter of such a creative-type, it only makes sense that your wedding is going to have a lot of goodies!

Emma and Shaun, though, were my favorite part of the day. From the moment we met, they were so calm, easy-going, and ready to say “I do.” You can have all of the gorgeous decorations in the world, but it doesn’t come close to how meaningful a powerful love is..and theirs is powerful. You can see it in the way they look at each other, embrace each other, and simply are.
