Kelsey and Sean tied the knot a couple of weeks ago at the beeeautiful Paradise Cove, and their wedding was PERFECT. I mean…perfect.
That morning when I woke up, I saw that it was an exceptionally gloomy day outside. It wasn’t just raining, but it was down-pouring. This went on for hours, and I was starting to plan for a rainy wedding (not a terrible thing, but not what most brides envision for their wedding!). As I was heading to the venue, I started to see blue skies trying to make their way through the endless clouds. Fast-forward to about 1 hour before the ceremony, and you would NEVER have guessed that the morning started off so rainy. I mean, there were tornado warnings in the counties around us…that’s how bad it was. Instead, we got the most gorgeous, clear skies, plenty of sunshine, and a nice cool air. We couldn’t have asked for a better day!
Everyone was so incredibly relaxed and happy, and all they wanted to do was celebrate Kelsey and Sean. When I met with Kelsey earlier this week to go over their wedding albums, I asked her one of my favorite questions; “how was your wedding day from your perspective??” I don’t always get to ask it, and I love hearing how the bride and groom interpreted their day. Was it everything they wanted? Were there any major or minor hiccups? I LOVED Kelsey’s response, and I know Kristen at Our DJ Rocks will love it too!
She said that with the craziness of the day and how quick it all went by, one of her very clear and fond memories was when Kristen started playing the song “Amore.” Now…if you haven’t experienced this at weddings you’ve attended where Our DJ Rocks was there, you are missing out on a GREAT time! Kelsey told me that she and Sean happened to be in the very back of the room when this started, and they ended up just standing there watching it all. She said it was such an amazing moment, and I couldn’t agree more! I LOVE watching this and think it’s so incredibly fun. Well, when I was editing their images, I came across a picture of the guests starting to do what Kristen told them to go along with the music, and I spotted Kelsey and Sean standing in the back, just as she described, watching it all with huge smiles on their faces. AMAZING. I was so giddy with excitement when I saw that photo that I immediately texted her a photo of it! And don’t you worry, I posted it in here for you to look at too! But first, you have to see the entire wedding! <3
