With Florida summers come the lovely “predicted” afternoon showers, and we had to reschedule Kelsey and Sean’s first session date because of this. For attempt #2, we were so close to having to reschedule again, but thankfully they were flexible with their schedules and we were able to start a bit earlier! We ended up having the perfect light for their shoot! At the very end of their session, we saw those ominous clouds rolling in, and it all worked out perfectly!
I really loved working with these two for this session for a few reasons. First, they are SUCH a sweet couple. You can see it in their eyes how much they adore each other, and there’s really nothing better than that!
Something else that I love (believe it or not) is when couples aren’t so comfortable in front of the camera at the beginning of the session. I kind of take it as a personal challenge to help them feel relaxed and really focus on each other rather than me/the camera. By the end of the shoot, I could see a huge difference in how relaxed they were! There was definitely more laughter, and I think they bonded with the camera (and me??) just perfectly! I am SO happy that they opted for an engagement session because now they know exactly what to expect on the wedding day, and it’s going to be absolute perfection! I really can’t wait to photograph them in January at Paradise Cove!
<3 Enjoy your sneak peek, you love birds you! I loooove how your photos turned out, especially the very last one here! 😀
