When it comes to love and family, Christina & Ryan absolutely NAILED it. It was so heart-warming to see so much love pouring out at every angle, and it really made for the perfect wedding day. I don’t think anything could have spoiled this day for them with how happy and full of love they are, and we thoroughly enjoyed being part of their big day!
From the moment we arrived, Christina was just beaming. She is one of those people that you really can’t help but smile around. The weather was great, the venue was beautiful, and friends and family were slowly arriving.
By the time of their first look, it was obvious that Ryan was SO ready to see his blushing bride. One of my favorite things about a first look is seeing the groom’s reaction. And Ryan really gave us something good! He was so in awe with his soon-to-be-wife…it really was hard stepping in to continue with photos (but someone has to do it, right?).
Even both of their moms were on the sidelines watching, crying, and cheering them on. It was BEAUTIFUL.
The ceremony had a lot of surprises, including some really unique music that I couldn’t help but laugh (don’t worry, everyone was laughing…it was all in really, really great fun!). The
officiant was introduced with game-show music (to his surprise), and he played the part REALLY well. Even their programs were extremely entertaining (don’t you worry, I’ve included it in the blog. I strongly suggest you read it for some good chuckles!).
The speeches were unlike anything we’ve seen before also (there really were a lot of “firsts” in this wedding)! Instead of the traditional introduction of the wedding party, only the bride and groom were introduced at the beginning. Later on, the bride and groom were the ones to announce their wedding party. Each person got a thorough description of how they met each other, what they love about that person, etc. It was so, so touching. Then…enter groomsman speech. This guy really outdid himself! He went through and showed a dramatic large photo for each groomsman, explaining how they won their “man card.” Then he finished it with a photo of the couple, and proceeded to award Ryan a man card as well. It was so creative (and SO hilarious)!
Instead of jabbering on and on, I’ll let you scroll through this beautiful, fun-loving wedding. We enjoyed photographing these two and their families so much, and I hope you all love it as much as we do!
