I am crazy excited to post this blog today! This family radiates love and happiness, and Whitney and I had the best time spending our morning with them a couple of weeks ago!
Rebecca, one of the beautiful daughter’s in these photos, first reached out to me in December. She and her family were looking for someone to take some nice family portraits while they visited from out of state. We planned the shoot, and then waited. A couple of months ago, I got an email from her saying that her brother decided he wanted to propose to his girlfriend during the shoot. I cannot even explain the level of excitement I got when I read that email! If you know me, you know I am a sucker for love and ooey-gooey-gushy cuteness. Romantic moments like this are what I live for!
That morning, we met this incredibly wonderful family at Disney’s Boardwalk. Our plan was to take family photos around the boardwalk, and then end the shoot by taking photos of each couple, with Missy and Nate being the last. The plan was perfectly executed, and Missy was completely thrown off! I absolutely loved her reaction of pure shock, followed by extreme elation! The hugs that followed after the proposal were also such a beautiful moment. Everyone was hugging everyone, and nothing could have made it more perfect.
We were so honored not only to take family photos for this extremely amazing family, but also to be part of such a perfect moment between Missy and Nate.
