What do you get when you mix our furry, 4 legged best friends with one of the most amazing days of your life? A dog-wedding! Yes, yes. I know it’s a bit out there, but let’s talk about how ridiculously cute this is.

Dogs. Dressed up. Like they’re getting married. 

Oh, and we can’t forget the adorable officiant who completely knocked it out of the park!

When Bri and Katie with Mission Inn came to me with this idea, I was instantly on board. In fact, I may have even said “yes!” before they even finished their sentence! And let me just say that I am so happy I did. Bri, Katie, and their team did such a phenomenal job putting this beautiful shoot together. We worked with the wonderful Houndhaven, who allowed us to use their beautiful property and adorable dogs. We couldn’t have asked for a better day for this session, or more well-behaved dogs! Honestly, going into this, I wasn’t sure what to expect. None of us were! We knew there would be dogs..a lot of dogs (more than you’ll even see in the photos!), and we had no idea if they would be on their best behavior. They were! I mean…it was unreal! The pups were so cooperative, and SO funny. I laughed way too much during this session, and I could tell that everyone was having a great time.

My favorite thing about this session, besides the cuteness of it all, were the two little flower girl pups. Yes, you heard me right. Puppy flower girls, in tutus. Can you even dream of something more adorable? I know I can’t! These two were teasing each other down the aisle, pulling on each other’s floral, and just being puppies. <3 My heart melted, and I wanted to take them home instantly!

Another thing that I loved was the reception. We had everything from your maid of honor who maybe had a little too much of the Signature Toilet Water, to “Uncle Bob” who just stood on the sidelines waiting for his cue to pick up the microphone and give a bad speech. We even had the crazy cousin who was all wirey and ready to get the party started, and of course many other friends who came to celebrate these pups’ love!

Also….there was a first kiss. I mean, unplanned, un-predictable…first.kiss!!! <3
