Michelle & Willie: Married | Sivan Photography | Orlando Wedding Photographer

I feel so incredibly lucky and honored to have been part of Michelle and Willie’s big day! The wonderful Nicole with Pave Weddings recommended us to this fabulous Texas couple, and after a nice Skype meeting, I was thrilled that they felt so comfortable with us to have us photograph their wedding!

We didn’t officially meet until their wedding day, but they were both so warm and welcoming. You could just feel the happiness radiating from them. I spent the getting ready portion with Michelle while Kristina was with Willie. Michelle and her girls were full of energy, laughs, and an abundance of love. She was smiling non-stop, as every bride should on her wedding day!

This was our first time photographing a wedding at The Mezz and The Abbey in downtown Orlando. I had been there before, but wasn’t sure what to expect in terms of their decor. I was absolutely blown away! There was purple everywhere, and it was just so romantic. The way the lighting was down the aisle felt like everyone was walking down a catwalk, and it just felt so extravagent in the best way!

Enter reception: WOW. I knew The Mezz had incredible lighting inside, but with the rest of the decor they chose, it was just stunning beyond words. The glass chandeliers had beautiful light radiating from it, the columns throughout the space were beautifully lit up, and the center pieces were so elegant.

My absolute favorite part of their wedding was when the girls got together for their sorority chant (I hope “chant” is the right word for it!), circled Michelle, and made her feel so, so loved. Following that, the guys had their own routine from their fraternity. They were incredibly hilarious, and I couldn’t help but pull out my iPhone and take a video while snapping photos on my camera. It was just too perfect!

Shannon & Andrew: Engaged | Orlando Wedding Photographer | Downtown Winter Garden | Sivan Photography

Shannon and Andrew are such an amazing couple! They found us through The Knot, and I absolutely loved them from the minute we started talking!

Their engagement session was really special because I got to photograph in one of my new favorite spots. I’ve been looking for rows of pine trees for quite some time, and I was ecstatic when I finally found them. I posted some photos of Craig and I being silly between the trees, and Shannon immediately asked to change their engagement session location to the trees. I am so happy they did, because it turned out better than I could have hoped! They even brought their adorable dogs along for the photo shoot adventure, and those two pups were hilarious. They’re like mischievous little kids who are always up to no good.

We started their session in downtown Winter Garden, and I just love the whole vibe of their shoot. I can’t wait for their wedding at Cypress Grove this November! <3

Lydia & Ryan: Engaged | Sivan Photography | Orlando Wedding Photographer | Rollins College | Kraft Azalea Gardens

I am beyond obsessed with this engagement session! Lydia & Ryan are not only incredibly beautiful on the outside, but they have amazing personalities to match! They were goofy and giggly throughout their session, and if you know me, you know that means I was smiling ear-to-ear from it! Everything about them, from their outfits, to her amazing hair and makeup done by Kristy’s Hair and Makeup, to their snuggles, was absolute perfection.

We first met at Rollins College that morning, and afterward we headed to Kraft Azalea Gardens to finish up their photos there. Rollins is one of my favorite places to photograph with all of their amazing architecture, unique nooks, and beautiful lighting no matter where you turn.

Krystal & Branden: Married | Orlando Wedding Photographer | Sivan Photography | Royal Crest Room

Krystal and Branden certainly hit the nail on the head when they decided to incorporate 4 leaf clovers into their wedding. If you were anywhere in Florida on May 29th, you know how crazy the weather was! Tornado warnings left and right, and seriously heavy rain throughout the day! On my way to the Royal Crest Room that afternoon for their wedding, I was on high-alert between trying to see more than 10 feet in front of me, looking for tornadoes since my weather alert kept going off on my phone, and you know..making sure not to get into a car accident at the same time. It was definitely one for the records!

Let me tell you though…they had some amazing luck following them that day. Literally seconds after their first look, the last rain drop fell from the sky. The clouds parted, but still left us some fun textures to play with as a backdrop. And by the time sunset rolled around, the sky was to die for! Of course, who wouldn’t take advantage of such an incredibly delicious sunset + a beautiful couple? You’ll have to look through the blog to see one of my all-time favorite sunset photos!

Krystal & Branden, we had such a great time with you and your guests at your wedding. You’re such a relaxed and sweet couple, and really…the love pretty much oozes from you guys when you look at each other. It’s amazing to see such beautiful love, and I’m so elated that we were able to participate in such a perfect day for you! Thank you for putting your trust in us! <3
